Ana Pereira, an immigrant herself, helps students adjust to their new lives at McMaster and in Canada through transitional services, personal development and the International Student Buddy Program. She organizes workshops, coffee nights, outings and events for international students to enrich their McMaster experience.

Anthony
Immigration Consultant
Anthony is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant who is available to help answer questions about study permit extensions, post-graduate work permit, temporary residence visa, permanent residency and other issues related to your status in Canada. Anthony can also assist domestic and international students with navigating the visa process when pursuing opportunities outside Canada.

Student Success Coach for International Students
Andrea is available to meet one-on-one to support questions and concerns during your time at McMaster. Common topics include adjusting to Canada, academic concerns, achieving your goals, getting involved and feeling connected to campus, accessing and understanding supports on campus and financial concerns

Lajipe
Immigration and Mobility Advisor (on leave)
A former international student, Lajipe Sanwoolu combines her first-hand experience with her training as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant to advise students on immigration, student permits, employment permits, family visas and other matters. She also supports relationships between international students and employers, providing education about international hiring and dispelling hiring misconceptions.

Student Success Coach for International Students (on leave)
All undergraduates at McMaster have access to free academic advising. Andrew Staples helps international students connect with the academic counselling and resources best suited to their individual needs, advises them one-on-one and runs workshops and webinars on academics, housing and life in Hamilton.
