You may qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit, which lets you work in Canada for up to three years immediately after you graduate. There are also a number of programs for graduates who wish to become permanent residents.

Off-Campus Work Find out more

Under Canadian rules, international students have more freedom and flexibility to work off-campus than in other countries, including the U.S. The opportunity to earn valuable Canadian work experience as an undergraduate is one reason why international student enrolment is rising here while it falls in places with more restrictive rules.

Graduate Employability

McMaster graduates are highly employable. Almost 90 per cent of graduates find work within six months, and almost 94 per cent are employed after two years.
